At Silves, the first Arab capital of the Kingdom of the Algarve you will have free time to visit Silves Castle and Silves Cathedral, both built with the red stone characteristic of the area. After that, we will wend our way through the Monchique mountains to Fóia, the highest point in the Algarve, with free time to take pictures and an opportunity to taste one of the liqueurs typical of the region. Then we descend to a viewing point, where you will have time for lunch (not included) . We proceed to the amazing Quinta dos Vales (Wine Estate), for a guided visit to the vineyards and cellars. Time to taste the excellent locally produced wines and to enjoy the taste of the delicious home-made bread along with the finest olive oil. An unique experience!!
